CARVED AND GRUNGY…

I left a package of Makin’s Clay® out on my workbench for several months.  Then, when it was fully cured, I carved out a heart.  I also used a tool from my bird carving days,The Detailer, a electric hot blade that I used to burn some detail in the grooves. Copper wire was wrapped into the grooves I created and I added a small gear and several small screws.  I finished the heart with a wax product.

GO RED FOR WOMEN…

I made this heart pendant three years ago for a friend.  Today is Go Red for Women…I think this is an appropriate post for today.

HEART OF MY HEART…I love that melody.

Here’s my latest heart pendant made from Souffle polymer clay…can you see the rhythm of my heart?

FOR BONNIE…

Bonnie, you asked, I delivered! You can see clear through the center of this heart…the heart was made from Souffle polymer clay.  Numerous gears, copper wire and a piece of a broken windshield are all inclusions in this piece.
