I left a package of Makin’s Clay® out on my workbench for several months. Then, when it was fully cured, I carved out a heart. I also used a tool from my bird carving days,The Detailer, a electric hot blade that I used to burn some detail in the grooves. Copper wire was wrapped into the grooves I created and I added a small gear and several small screws. I finished the heart with a wax product.

Bonnie, you asked, I delivered! You can see clear through the center of this heart…the heart was made from Souffle polymer clay. Numerous gears, copper wire and a piece of a broken windshield are all inclusions in this piece.
