easterbunny.jpgHi Folks…this is Kinzee and I want to wish everyone a Happy Easter!  If you have any extra bones, hard-boiled eggs etc., please send them to:  Kinzee Krauchune/Martell 31 Bunny Trail Shirley MA …I am not too proud to beg. (just don’t tell my Moms…they have me on a special diet because my triglycerides are too high)…and they call these the golden years?  Hogwash.

easteregglibertyHappy Easter from LIBERTY HOUSE to all our family and friends!  I had cut my right hand on March 18th so I have not been working in clay…but, Monday I had the stitches out so now I can go back to playing. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.

SCLThis polymer clay pin was made for Vince Swift, President and Treasurer of the Statue of Liberty Club.  I joined the club in September of 2001. The pin consists of a small pewter SOL figure encased in UV cured resin.  I used an old watch band buckle to give the illusion of a leather strap around the perimeter. Mica powders were used to add color.  Hope you like it Vince!

CollageHere is a shadow box I made for my friends Amy and Matt Weider, owners of the best real estate business on the Cape…Century 21 Shoreland. The box is made from some left over boxes from a Tim Holtz class I took…I glued them together and surrounded them with chip board to hold them together. Inside each “cubby” are pictures of Ryland, Kinsley and Matt and Amy. The compass rose is made from polymer clay…I found a metal compass rose, made a silicone mold from the item so I could reproduce it.  There are keys and various other attachments to make the box personal…I even made a little violin from Shrinky Dinks…Kinsley is playing the violin and I thought she might like to see that included.  I had a little silver lighthouse charm that I “painted” with nail polish to resemble the Nauset light.  This was a really fun project.  Thanks to Jan for copying the pictures and sizing them for me…I know I am a pain with all my requests but she still loves me!!!

For non believers….

Nuns_0002  With my 68th birthday looming in the way too near future I wanted to post this pictureNuns_0001 for all my friends that do not believe I was ever a nun.  Now can you see the halo?  Yes, those were the days of my innocence, age 19…HAIL MARY…wow, have I changed!

I am the banjo player in this picture…

Maybe in this other picture you can see the little brat I was…but, I’ll never admit to it!girls

BOOBOOPoor little Kinzee had eye surgery today and is still under the weather…fasting all day did not fare well and now she is asking for donations of milk bones, chicken, Greenies whatever…she better shake off the anesthesia first so she can walk!  How sad does she look.  And please do not call her a cone head…she warned us beforehand!
