    Just Steampunk! Volume 1 2011

2014 Puff the DragonflyThis is Puff, the dragonfly…he is made from Premo polymer clay with hinges, watch gears, staples, and rivets…I then used mica powders for color and Lisa Pavelka’s craft foil on the wings.  Julie, you asked, and you will receive.

2014 BlueEyed BirdieThis little pendant was made from Premo polymer clay. The wing is made from a watch part and several other watch parts were used including a hand from a watch on the beak.  I also used some mini rivets and an arrow on the tail.  The piece was finished with mica powders.  Hey Krystal, I’m giving you the bird !

BB the Democrat

2014 BBThis is BB, the Democrat.  He is on his way to Texas.  I made him for my classmate Sharon who is very active in the Democratic Party…we were part of AHS class of 1963.  BB is made of Fimo polymer clay…he has a few brads and a small piece of ball chain as adornments, his tail is also made of ball chain.  Sharon knows who he was named after!

2014 Whootie 2This little stylized owl is made from Premo polymer clay. I used a spring for the feet, several watch parts, some brads, and a couple of nuts for body parts.  The owls color comes from mica powders.  Remember: “give a hoot, don’t polute”…I think of that phrase each time I reuse some thrown out stuff such as old watch parts.

The winner is:

2014 Time Flies Glory FadesRachelle…you are the winner of this polymer clay pendant!  Kinzee pulled your name out of her hat, well not really…but it is yours.  I hope you enjoy it.  Have fun, remember time really does fly so do what you want, when you want because before you know it you will be an old gal like me ;.)

2014 Time Flies Glory FadesLeave a comment on my BLOG, not Facebook, and on February 8, 2014, I’ll pick a winner!  This polymer clay pendant has inclusions of watch parts, gears, staples, and a grommet from an old pair of jeans. The finished piece is brushed with mica powders.

bubushka girl  Do you think Kinzee looks cute with her babushka?  Jan decided to put this on her to try to get her to stop barking…not so much. I think she looks pathetic…maybe the new Russian look might get her a cookie though ;>)
