May I introduce Mr. Steamy, my Steampunk snowman. I had an old glass Pom juice bottle, covered it with Souffle® polymer clay, textured him with a Makin’s® Texture Sheet then added gears, ball chains and antiqued it with an oil based paint. I used my favorite Beacon’s™ Tacky Glue for adhesion and finally sealed it with Beacon’s™ Fast Finish Decoupage.

Inspired by PolymerclayTV’s video on Youtube, here’s my take on the art doll that Kira made. Mine is Liberty Girl. Built on a bottle from Hobby Lobby, Libby was fashioned from Sculpey’s® Souffle polymer clay. Numerous watch parts were used as well as some Makin’s Clay® star cutters and texture sheets and CreateAlong’s border cutter. The “ink” on her arms say TRUTH, FREEDOM, LOVE, PEACE, HONOR and last but not least LIBERTY. I also call her Time for Liberty.

This little project was made entirely from Makin’s Clay®. From the Glow in the Dark skulls to the little raven on the tombstone, all the components are Makin’s®. A little battery operated tea light sits in the jar and glows through the eyes and flames. BOO

I just love all things steampunk. I made this pumpkin using Sculpey’s® Souffle and Premo Clays. Started by covering a glass jar with the clay, then used several different Makin’s ® texture sheets to give the pumpkin a worn look. A lot of ball chain came into play as well as various gears, a zipper pull and a chain. Used oil paint to antique and finish it off.
