NEW YEAR SOLTo all my family, friends, and bloggers…may the New Year be filled with health, happiness and may all your dreams and wishes come true.  Thanks for following me on this journey. Remember life is not a dress rehearsal… be all you can be and be kind to one another.

2012 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 3,900 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 7 years to get that many views.

8109387-statue-of-liberty-saying-merry-christmasMay the spirit of Christmas fill your heart with love, peace and joy.  Please remember and pray for the folks in Newtown Connecticut…this will be a very difficult and sad Christmas for them.  God bless us all.

Check out my web site…

IMG_2104FINALLY, after way too long, my web site is available…there are quite a few pictures  of my collection, but only about half is posted at this time.  Believe it or not I have a lot more Statue of Liberty stuff for Jan to take pictures of…she only got the majority of things downstairs…we got a whole nother floor to photograph!  Thank you goes to Dick for designing and getting my web site working and for putting the cool music on the site!

LibertyNecklaceI made this Liberty pendant for Brendagael, a member of the Statue of Liberty Club.  It is made from polymer clay with a metal Liberty bead encased in UV cured resin.  I added some brads to give it a Steampunk look and highlighted the clay with mica powders.  Merry Christmas my friend!  It will be mailed out to you next week.

TreeofColorsHere is a little rainbow Christmas tree pendant.  It is made from Premo polymer clay with a glass bead trunk and a glass star on top.

SteeringheartThis polymer clay Steampunk pendant was made with Premo clay.  It is made with two layers of clay, watch gears encased in UV cured resin and various other watch parts incorporated into the clay.  I also used some hardware cloth to “screen” in the gears before adding the resin.
