    Just Steampunk! Volume 1 2011

2014 Steampuck little bookThis micro mini book was made for a gal at the bank…her 7 year old daughter is going as Steampunk Belle for Halloween and she asked me to make a book pendant.  The book has 7  signatures, a leather cover and silk headbands. I put  metal Steampunk goggles on the cover, and her initial is dangling from a small ball chain.  The book measures 1 1/4 inches by 1 inch.

2014 Dragon FlyThis polymer pendant was made for a gal at the senior center who loves dragonflies.  I painted, with 18K gold-leaf paint, and silver paint, the brass dragonfly. I also used 4 eyelets and finished it with my usual mica powders.  Hope you like it Debbie!

For my friend…

2014 TDFThis pendant was made for a childhood friend that lost her son on Monday.  I cannot fathom her pain or grief.  The pendant was made from Premo polymer clay.  Her son’s initials are there along with a leaf that signifies the family tree service business.  I embedded, in resin, a couple of baby’s breath flowers blossoms that I got at the grave site. The piece was finished with mica powders.  Rest in peace Taylor.

For Edith…

2014 Kitty for EdiithThis little kitty pendant was made for my dear friend Edith who will be 29 on October 1st. It has numerous watch parts, a spring, glass pins, and a ball chain collar.  I finished the piece with mica powders.  MEOW, sorry not trying to be catty.

I recently had the honor of being published for the forth time in Just Steampunk magazine volume 5…thank you Scott Publications!  You can get a copy at Barnes and Noble.  It is loaded with all kinds of steampunk art from home decor, fashion, dolls and paper arts.  I should be getting a lot of my pieces back from the Buell Museum exhibit that ended September 6th.JP Vol5 2014ar
