    Just Steampunk! Volume 1 2011

Just in time for Valentine’s Day is this polymer clay pendant…seed beads, copper wire and a crown adorn this heart.  Leave a comment and this pendant could be yours!  Kinzee , AKA “Missy Barky Pants”, our mini schnauzer, will draw a winner on February 7, 2012 and it will be shipped out to you in time for Valentine’s Day!  Go for it…

Micro mosaic pendant…

This is the first pendant  made using very tiny “tiles” I made from polymer clay which are then pushed into a base of black polymer that acts as grout.  I filled a heart-shaped bezel with the clay parts then coated it with 4 coats of UV cured resin.  I gave this pendant to my long time friend Edith.

I am working on another heart which will be posted soon…that heart will be another give away for a comment posted on this blog!  Keep watching…

Robo Cop was created using a fluorescent lamp starter as a base…his head is a glass percolator top that I filled with mini glass beads, a watch stem, a watch gear all sealed  inside the top with UV cured resin.  I also used polymer clay, some resistors, an IC, mini screws, a micro bulb and terminal connectors.  He will be joining his fellow robots at my friend Mary’s house.

Here’s Elgin, a very stunning puddy tat.   Elgin’s new home will be with Ms. O in Dorchester, MA.   He is made from Premo polymer clay, pins, watch gears, washers and whiskers made from watch hands. MEOW!

Ms. O has taken in many kitties and nursed them back to good health, plus given many a real nice home.  Now she has Elgin to watch over and snoopervise all kitty activities. Elgin needs a lot of TLC: (tuna, love, catnip).

My heart has tyme…

This heart pendant keeps tyme with various watch parts, a key tag, eyelets and mini screws.  Premo polymer clay was used along with UV cured resin.  My heart has tyme for my art!

This pendant was made from Ultra Light Sculpey polymer clay…I baked the heart shape, then carved the exterior to give it a “whittled” look.  When the heart is opened, a key is seen sealed in UV cured resin. The heart was hand painted then finished with a polymer sealer.

“Look, look my heart is an open book…”

This heart-shaped pendant is actually a little book.  I used Premo polymer clay, various watch parts  and a resistor.  Some of the parts are covered with UV cured resin. The outside covers have a circuit board pattern impressed into the clay.  Again, thanks to my ace photographer Jan for all her hard work!
