BABY SUSIE and THE PAULS FISH PICS…

2014 SusiePaul's Fish PicsThis little fishie is Baby Susie, the daughter of Charlie and Isabelle Paul. She will be swimming  her way to Port Charlotte Florida to join her Mom and Dad.  She has her own initialized diaper pin and numerous other family traits such as watch parts and very stunning eye brows made of watch hands.  The Paul family is united again!  Swim Susie, swim!!!

ACORN PIN WHEEL…

2014 Acorn PinWheelAfter a week of being down with a cold and sinus infection I finally felt well enough to get back in my studio.  I made this pin wheel pendant for Beth, the birthday girl.  I think today is her 39th birthday?  Anyway, this polymer pin wheel has a solid brass acorn in the center and each section has some watch gears.  Hope you like it girlfriend, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!  BTW…hope your test  comes back  good!

LIBERTY FOR RACHELLE…

2014 Lady Liberty HeartI made this polymer clay pendant for my friend Rachelle who works at the bank.  Her birthday is tomorrow…she loves patriotic things so in my eyes the Statue of Liberty is my symbol of patriotism.  I used some watch gears, glass head pins, and star brads… the Liberty figure was taken from an antique door knob I have…I made a mold out of silicone of the statue.  Happy birthday my friend!!!!  Hey Rach, how does it feel to be 59?

SPARK POWER BUELL EXHIBIT

Robot PowerThis is the third and last robot for the Buell Museum exhibit.  Spark has a crank for a head, several watch gears, and the arms are valve cores.  He is mounted on a large gear.

EDISON # 29 BUELL EXHIBIT

Robot EdisonThis little robot is Edison.  His head is a light bulb, the base is a bell from a clock covered in clay.  I also added several clock gears, a crank, mini circuit board and some watch parts.

ROBOT # 9 BUELL MUSEUM…

Robot 9-OffThis is robot #9…he is going to the Buell Museum for the “Full Steam Ahead” exhibit.  I covered a small glass bottle with clay, added 2 large gears and a “pipe” for the steam to exit.  He has an off/on switch in the front, and an outlet in the back. The head is a bobbin .

For a friend…

2014 IRMAI made this polymer butterfly for a friend.  I used rivets, various watch parts and a fuse. Finished the piece with mica powders.
