My charge for the December project on the Makin’s Clay® Design Team was to use their Makin’s Brand® Memory Frame Kit. I got the double turning kit. On one side I have a picture of Liberty with the World Trade Center in the background. On the panel next to that picture I made some embellishments from Makin’s Clay®. If you turn both panels you will find a larger Statue of Liberty that I molded, again using Makin’s Clay®, attached to the top of an old mini flag I had tea stained. The kit comes with clay and everything you need to personalize it and make it your own. Go to: Makinsclayblog.blogspot.com for complete instructions. Never forget.

This polymer clay pendant was made with Souffle™ polymer clay. The front and back were textured with Makin’s Clay® texture sheets. The picture was covered with Sepia Accents™ by Ranger. I made this pendant for my friend Wheeze…when I saw this picture she posted on Facebook of her Dad, I decided to make this keepsake for her. Hope you like it Wheeze!

I made three polymer clay pendants for three wonderful woman who recently had to lay their husband and Father to rest. Jim served his country in Vietnam where he was exposed to Agent Orange…years later that exposure took his life. Jim was a man of the people. He was very active in Texas politics and was a strong union leader. He will be sorely missed. Rest in peace my friend. Making the pendants, I used Souffle™ clay, mica powders and two different Makin’s Clay® texture sheets.

For my second December project for Polymer Clay TV, I made this snow globe with a my version of the famous lamp from the Christmas Story. I used push molds from Polymerclaytv to make the snow flakes and the bows on the packages. The lamp is made entirely from Makin’s Clay®. If you want to see some great videos, purchase any of the neat molds or other polymer clay tools, head over to Polymerclaytv and check it out!

For my first December project for Polymerclaytv, I made this Winter scene “ornament”. Using the Christmas shrine kit from Polymerclaytv and their snowman push mold, a candy cane mold and holly cutters, I fashioned a standing ornament. The front is made from Premo™ polymer clay that was embossed with a Makin’s Clay® texture sheet. Instead of putting the snowflake, that came with the kit, on the top of the shrine, I hung it from the inside of the box and painted it with tinsel paint. I made two Christmas trees and glued them to the base which was painted with Snow Tex. Mica flakes were also glued to the background. Go to Polymer Clay TV to see all their neat Christmas items and see some cool videos there too!
