VULCAN CASTLE…

2017 Vulcan RockMy wife was in Alabama recently for a family reunion. She always brings me a small rock from her travels: (at my request). She was at the Vulcan in Birmingham, the largest cast iron statue in the world where she found a small piece of hematite iron ore.  I made a polymer castle, about 1 1/2″ tall on top of this little rock and decided to call it the Vulcan Castle. I used Sculpey Souffle™  polymer clay and mica powders in the making of the castle.
