MENDED BROKEN HEART…

Here’s a heart pendant made from Souffle polymer clay. The inclusions are a couple of springs, two small pieces of broken windshield glass, eyelets, gears and some copper wire.  So much fun being back in my studio creating!

I am having so much fun making these fish wall plaques. Here’s the second little fishy in a series I plan on making.  I just love Souffle polymer clay and it works very well for my projects. I also love up cycling things I find that can be used in my projects, like the little water spout, a piece of crystal from a broken ornament. This fishy is 18-B…my fishy keep wanting to hang out in my Koi pond!  My next fish will be for a magazine submission where you can get the instructions on how to make one for yourself!  Have fun claying!!!!

While perusing the web, I saw some fish wall hangings made from recycled wood and other items.  I decided to make some in a steampunk fashion from polymer clay.  My first one is named #18, a personal back story on that.  The substrate was made from 5 layers of corrugated cardboard then covered with Rigid Wrap. Stay tuned for more little fish to come!  I am back in the saddle again, look out world!
