FOR MARCY…

2015 GushlawThis pendant was made for my friend Marcy who just loss her Dad. I used Sculpey Souffle™ polymer clay and the surface was impressed with a Makin’s® Texture Sheet on the front and back. A bezel was used to frame the picture and mica powders were applied to color the clay.

FOR LOUISE…

2015 GushlawThis pendant was made for my long time friend Louise who just lost her husband Rudy. I used Scupley Souffle™ polymer clay and the back side was impressed with another favorite of mine, a Makin’s® Texture Sheet…it leaves a nice crisp impression in the clay. Rudy was an awesome guy.  We often bumped into one another downtown and would chat about town politics and the like…we always solved all the problems and had answers for everything.  You will be missed my friend.

STATUE OF LIBERTY…

2015 Liberty for AmandaHere’s a Statue of Liberty pendant I made for SOL club member Amanda Liberty, that’s right her last name is Liberty! Amanda lives in England. The pendant is made from Sculpey Souffle™ polymer clay, has numerous watch hands and various other watch parts incorporated into the clay.  Lady Liberty will be flying over the Atlantic to you my friend!

POLYMER CLAY TV…

PCTVToday Polymer Clay TV announced their new Design Team and I am honored to have been selected to be a part of this team of talented polymer artist from around the world.  I will be posting two project each month with some great products that you can get from their shop.   So be on the look out for new designs and fun things to come!

LOVING PMC…

2015 PMC Town ClerkThis pendant was made with Sculpey Souffle™ polymer clay.  I used my favorite Makin’s® Texture Sheet with gears to impress the clay. There is a small piece of mini bike chain and a metal bike as inclusions and the piece is finished with mica powders.  I made this for a local town clerk who does the Pan Mass Challenge, a biking event that raises millions of dollars for cancer research.

BUTTERFLIES ARE FREE….

2015 Butterflies copyThese butterflies were made with Makin’s Clay®, an air dry polymer clay. The dried clay is so flexible I was able to attach hinges to bend them into the position I wanted.  I treated the surface with Pebeo paint, acrylic paints and Stickles™ for dimension. They are meant to be hung on the wall. I just love all the different things you can do with Makin’s Clay® !

PIN WHEEL…

Here’s a little pin wheel I made with some leftover Makin’s Clay®…one of the things I love about it is how flexible it remains after drying…pretty cool right.2015 Pinwheel
