2014 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 4,000 times in 2014. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 3 trips to carry that many people.

2014 Heart for Joyce FidelityI made this polymer heart for my friend Joyce, manager at the Shirley branch of Fidelity Bank…she is by far the best bank manager bar none! The heart has many inclusions including several watch parts, a mini hinge, a part from my COPD medication container, and a few pins and screws. I finished it with mica powders. Merry Christmas.

2014 Cousin's MomThis polymer heirloom pendant was made for our dear friend Diane, aka Cousin.  I highlighted the clay with mica powders.  The image of her Mom is a clay transfer. Merry Christmas my friend!

Dogs & A CAT….

2014 Pets Here are three “pocket watch” magnets I made for my family members that loss a dear pet: Christine,  Lucy and Chester, aka Bug. Our pets are really family members.  These three are sorely missed.

2014 Janice Snow's ParentsI made this “antique” polymer pendant for my childhood friend Janice. What an awesome picture of her Mom and Dad…Janice looks just like her Mom. The pendant is highlighted with mica powders.  Merry Christmas my friend, I hope you like it!

2104 Santa Gnome with Liberty   Here’s the little guy, a Santa gnome, sitting on our mantle watching us to make sure we are being good: ( like I really need to be watched…not so much, but Jan really needs to be monitored now that she is retired). I made about 30 of these polymer clay figures for our Christmas party and for friends that really need to be supervised! Lady Liberty is making sure Santa does not eat too many cookies…HO HO HO

2014 Liberty GnomesThese Liberty gnomes are going to my friend Brenda in South Carolina…we are both members of the STATUE OF LIBERTY CLUB.  Although we have never met face to face, we share a passion for Lady Liberty.  Merry Christmas my friend!
