STONE COTTAGE…

For April, I created this stone cottage.  I used tools and molds from CREATEALONG.com at PolymerClayTV. I just love the fairy door mold and the cool leaf mold.  If you look close you can also see a few stones with a pattern from their silkscreens. I cut out rectangular shapes and textured them with a stiff brush and a little ball of aluminum foil that I wadded up and rubbed over the shapes. I also made faux stones that border the house. Windows were cut out with a heart cutter and I made panes with some wire and added Diamond Glaze™ for the “glass”.   Premo ™ polymer clays were used in several different colors then an oil based burnt umber paint was used to antique the stones.2016 stone house1k
