Clematis in courtyard

Courtyard summer 2013The clematis in our courtyard really look nice this summer…once it rains, or we get some strong wind, the flowers will fall off, they do not last very long.  Have not been playing with clay for quite a few weeks…but I will be taking two full days of classes with Laurie Mika July 19 and 20 at Absolutely Everything in Topsfield MA…very excited about time with Laurie.  I took a weekend of classes with her 5 years ago.  Laurie is the author of MIXED MEDIA MOSAICS.  She has also been published in numerous magazines.  Laurie lives in California so she does not get out here too often.  I am sure the classes will get me out of my slump…this hazy hot weather has really drained my creativeness.

  1. Such a beautiful photo. I love the climbing clematis and the stone. Gorgeous!! Enjoy your class. Can’t wait to see what you make!

  2. Hey Pat!

Everyone needs a break—even the creative juices need to recharge. So just enjoy yourself! The clematis are GORGEOUS! Nature is such a gift.

In NC and VA on vacation, and now in Richmond visiting my parents (86 and 87) before going to my aunt’s funeral tomorrow.
