Christi Friesen 2012

Well here they are…the polymer clay pieces I made at the Christi Friesen workshop a few weeks ago.  We learned how to use a new product Christi  has called SWELLEGANT.  It is a metal coating that was applied to the clay, then top with a patina and sealed.  The mermaid is a magnet that I brought to the Cape, the other pieces are going to family members and the gnome was an experiment I was doing for a future project.  We had a blast and learned a lot of new techniques.  Christi stopped at my home after to check out my studio prior to her going to her next workshop.  Christi teaches internationally and has author many books on polymer clay.  It was also nice reconnecting with the friends I made at last years workshop!
