STEAMPUNK

After reading the April 2011 Polymer Cafe magazine and really enjoying the artist profile of Lynn Reno, I decided to make a pendant for my sister-in-law who really likes acorns.  I did a few sketches on paper, got out my stash of old watch parts, and came up with this steampunk acorn.  I hope Ms “B” likes it!

I emailed Lynn and told her how much I enjoyed the article and I just LOVE her work.  If you want to see some of Lynn’s work, check out : artfire.com/users/DesertRubble

It is snowing again today…that makes for staying in and doing more art!!!!

  1. I LOVE IT PAT! THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!

  2. Hi Pat! I love your piece! I think you did your own thing there and that’s by far the most rewarding and best part. I love what you did on the back, I was thinking how cool it would be if the hearts were staggered enough to stamp on them “Made With Love”, how cute would that be?

Thanks for the plug! I’m so glad you love my work =)

…wondering why she never had an old stash of watch parts lol

  3. Wow! Your polymer clay pieces are exceptional. I love zipper head! Your studio is so neat, it looks like you have separate stations for your different interests. Good luck with your blog and thanks for listing mine on yours.
